In this letter, I take you behind the scenes of what fuels supernatural results in the lives of believers. You’ll uncover the kingdom principles that shape real, lasting victories.
Before victories are seen in the open, there’s always a process behind the scenes. And at the root of every lasting result in the kingdom is knowledge.
1. Knowledge
Every system has a culture.
In the kingdom of God, Christian growth begins with understanding how things work, our spiritual disciplines begin with knowledge, not assumptions.
I remember when I was admitted to study in one of the best secondary schools in my state at the time.
The first week of resumption was for orientation. Obviously, none of us knew much about the school apart from the fact that it was one of the best. So the orientation was compulsory. We had to attend lectures and go on tours around the school facility so we could understand how things worked.
It was only after completing the orientation that other academic activities officially began.
Today, many people have received Christ but never went through proper orientation. They don’t know how things work in the kingdom. They don’t know the kingdom's language, values, or systems. They only heard that Jesus loves them, and they came in.
But as expected, they get stuck. And sadly, many remain stuck for life.
The good news is that they have at least experienced the saving power of Jesus. But that’s not all Jesus offers. Their lives could have produced better fruit on earth and brought greater profit to the kingdom—if only they knew how things worked in the kingdom.
Let’s take, for example, what the Scriptures say: “With joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation” (Isaiah 12:3).
That means in this kingdom, nothing can be drawn from the well of salvation without a consistent atmosphere of joy. Oh my!
I only used that as a tip, but that’s not all. The Scriptures also say, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God” (1 Corinthians 2:12).
There was a time I used to think people who were extremely intelligent were just in a class of their own—that they were born with something special I didn’t have. I thought I couldn’t perform like them because I wasn’t born that way.
But as I grew, I began to understand this: if someone is doing better than I am, it’s simply because they know something I don’t know. And if I learn what they know, I can perform just like them, or even better. So my next step became this: find out what they know that I don’t.
For instance, in this kingdom, we are not permitted to speak idle words.
“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment”
—Matthew 12:36 (KJV)
Words in the kingdom are tools for creation. Every word that proceeds out of your mouth affects you either positively or negatively.
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed... and shall not doubt... he shall have whatsoever he saith”
—Mark 11:23 (KJV)
Yet today, I see some believers cracking jokes that may seem harmless in the flesh, but when weighed against kingdom standards, are totally off course, and those kinds of words will produce the wrong outcomes. Don't stay around such people, lest you be influenced.
There’s nothing wrong with catching fun, but in this kingdom, we have our own way of catching fun—different from the world’s. We understand that we are creators. Our words are instruments for creation. So we don’t use them carelessly just to amuse ourselves. We use them creatively.
A believer who doesn’t understand this will dive into every kind of careless conversation in the name of fun. Over time, that carelessness will reflect in their outcomes, and they’ll start to wonder why their life isn’t aligning with God’s promises.
There are things to learn about the next victory you are trusting God for. It doesn't begin with prayer. It begins with knowledge. Your prayer is only as powerful as what you know. There are no superstars in the kingdom. Anyone who reigns, or will ever reign, does so by knowledge.
2. Renewing of the Mind
Interestingly, the mind is the primary battlefield for every believer and, in fact, for all humans. There is no physical location where Satan fights his battles. It all happens in the mind.
When you become born again, it becomes very important to learn how to think and speak in this kingdom. Just like when you are onboarded into an industry, you must learn industry-specific jargon. You would sound out of place if you do not speak the language of the system. In the kingdom of God, we also have kingdom-specific language.
If you are careless with your thoughts and words, it may be impossible to walk in the mighty victories written concerning you. You will sound strange, even to the angels assigned to help you. If those angels do not understand your language, they cannot assist you. That language I’m talking about is The Word of God. You must learn to think and speak like the word.
Some people find it hard to maintain their profession of faith when faced with challenges. The devil’s darts seem stronger than the Word of God in them. They have bad dreams and ignore them. Wrong thoughts pop (whatever they are), and they entertain them. Satan whispers things like, "What if you never make it?" or "You may never find help," and they ruminate on those lies until they start speaking, acting, and living them. What began as a dart matures into a stronghold and eventually finds expression.
This happens because they have not been trained to manage their minds. Every great thing anyone has ever done, regardless of size, began in the mind. You need a healthy mind to walk in greatness and manifest mighty victories. The way to achieve this is by renewing your mind daily. Feed on the Word of God and speak it often.
Use the Word to counter every wrong thought, imagination, or dream that does not align with God’s plan for your life. Also use it to create new and profitable mental pictures after destroying the negative ones. Not once. Not twice. It must become a consistent practice. Soon, you will have what you say.
“Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind...”
— Romans 12:2 (TLB)
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God...”
— 2 Corinthians 10:5 (TLB)
The battle is in the mind. That’s why renewing the mind is not optional. It’s a requirement for victory through Christ.
3. Communication Gap
This issue of communication was the major fault with the Old Testament. The people couldn't understand God. They were of the earth and couldn’t grasp heavenly matters. Their spiritual software was incompatible with that of heaven. What they needed was a rebirth, which only became possible when Jesus died and rose again.
"For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah."
— Hebrews 8:8 (KJV)
Look at this communication gap between Jesus and the Jews:
"Yes, I am the Bread of Life! When your fathers in the wilderness ate bread from the skies, they all died. But the Bread from heaven gives eternal life to everyone who eats it. I am that Living Bread that came down out of heaven. Anyone eating this Bread shall live forever; this Bread is my flesh, given to redeem humanity.
Then the Jews began arguing with each other about what he meant. 'How can this man give us his flesh to eat?' they asked.
So Jesus said it again, 'With all the earnestness I possess I tell you this: Unless you eat the flesh of the Messiah and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you.'"
— John 6:51-53 (TLB)
"Even his disciples said, 'This is very hard to understand. Who can tell what he means?'"
— John 6:60 (TLB)
They couldn’t comprehend how they would eat the flesh and drink the blood of Jesus, the son of Mary, whose family they knew, because they hadn’t experienced the rebirth. Jesus had much more to tell them, but He couldn’t because they lacked understanding of kingdom matters.
“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.”
— John 16:12 (KJV)
Remember, the New Testament didn’t begin at the birth of Jesus but at His death and resurrection. It was His shed blood that sealed the New Covenant.
"After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, 'This cup is the new testament in my blood. This do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.'"
— 1 Corinthians 11:25 (KJV)
In the same way, today, God is speaking to many and giving them direction for their lives, but they cannot understand or follow His leading. However, today’s issue is not compatibility. If you are born again, your spiritual software is already compatible with heaven.
The only problem is that you may have failed to update it. Even though you're compatible, without daily renewal, you will operate like those who are not compatible at all.
So, the real question is: When you read the Bible, do you understand what you read?
There's a difference between sensual understanding and revelational understanding. It’s revelational understanding you must labor for. That kind is born in your spirit, not in your head. It comes through praying the apostolic prayer of Paul:
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him..."
— Ephesians 1:17–21 (KJV)
4. Obedience
Many times, God answers our prayers by leading us. When your prayer gets to Him, He will often respond with an instruction. If followed, that instruction will bring you to your expected end and hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
This is one principle I know that brings unbelievable victories. Even if you're completely new in the faith, perhaps you just got born again, if you can hear God's leading and obey, you will look like someone with a deep spiritual secret. And even if you know everything there is to know about the kingdom but fail to obey God's instructions, your life will be painful both to you and to God.
Look at this passage, with emphasis on verse 11:
“His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, ‘Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?’
Some claimed that he was. Others said, ‘No, he only looks like him.’
But he himself insisted, ‘I am the man.’
‘How then were your eyes opened?’ they asked.
He replied, ‘The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.’”
— John 9:8–11 (NIV)
God’s instructions often don’t make sense at face value. The blind man had the heart of a child. He knew nothing of Jesus, but he was willing to obey. That obedience unlocked an awe-inspiring miracle.
Naaman also received a strange instruction from the prophet: go wash in the Jordan River seven times (2 Kings 5:10). At first, he was offended. It took the wisdom of his servants to convince him to obey. Had he refused, he would have missed God's healing.
Those who don't obey, or are slow to obey often delay or completely miss their divine help. God wants to meet all your needs. That’s why He gives instructions. But if you disobey, how will His good intentions work in your life?
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.”
— Psalm 23:1–2 (KJV)
The most silent word in that passage is “leadeth.” While many focus on “green pastures” and “still waters,” the key is this: the sheep followed and trusted the shepherd’s lead. That’s why they arrived at rest and provision.
When we practice faith and obedience, we unlock what others may call luck or coincidence, but we know it's Holy Spirit guidance at work.
Finally, Prayer
There are many areas in life that needs victory. I may not address them individually, but I know the master key that unlocks them all—consistent prayer. Present your issues before God daily in prayer, especially praying in the Holy Ghost (Romans 8:26–27). He is more than willing to help.
God's beloved, it is this knowledge that drives results that are out of this world. The little steps we take, powered by knowledge, bring overwhelming results. Others may think the actions are the secret. But when they try it and fail, it proves that the real secret is the revelation behind the action.
One person may pray in the name of Jesus and see massive results. Another may pray the same prayer in the same name, and see nothing. The difference lies in the revelation one has of that name.
“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.”
— Philippians 3:10 (KJV)
Let the power of words, obedience, and prayer guide you into the life God destined for you. These Bible-based living practices work when consistently applied.
✨ Salvation Prayer
All I’ve shared with you—living a victorious life, enjoying divine direction, operating with spiritual intelligence, commanding results in prayer, and walking in the supernatural—is only possible through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
It all begins with receiving Jesus into your heart. If you haven’t done that yet, or you’re unsure of where you stand with God, I invite you to say the prayer below with all sincerity.
Dear Lord Jesus,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I need You.
I believe You died for me and rose again to give me new life.
Today, I open my heart and receive You as my Lord and personal Savior.
Wash me clean. Fill me with Your Spirit.
Help me to live for You from this day forward.
Thank You for saving me.
I am now a child of God.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
